Payment and Refund Policy
Payment, cancellation and refund rules for the services of this business.
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This policy describes how Harbour & Maple Journal handles payments, cancellations and refunds for the services it provides in and around Victoria. It applies to every order agreed with us by telephone, email or in person.
1. Quotations and confirmation of an order
An order starts with your inquiry by telephone or email. We confirm the service and its price in writing on the basis of the prices published on this website, and the agreement takes effect when you accept that confirmation. If the scope changes while the work is running, any change in price is agreed with you first.
2. Payment terms
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due 14 days after we send the invoice by email, using one of the methods named on it. Advance payments or installments, where agreed, are set out in the quotation with their amounts and dates. Open invoices are followed up with a written reminder, and interest may be charged where the law allows it.
3. Refunds and part-completed work
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of being agreed; if that method can no longer be used, we transfer the amount to a bank account you confirm to us in writing at editors@vosentra.info, without any fee. A service carried out as agreed is not refunded, and for work only partly done we refund the part not provided, less material or third-party costs agreed with you in advance.
4. Complaints about our work
If you are not satisfied with our work, please describe the problem in writing to editors@vosentra.info within 14 days of the service, while the details are still fresh. We look into it and suggest a correction, a repeat of the service, a partial refund or another solution that fits the case.
5. Cancelling a distance contract
Consumers who conclude a contract with us at a distance or away from our business premises may have a right to cancel it under the consumer protection legislation of their province, within the period that legislation sets. A clear statement sent to editors@vosentra.info before that period ends is enough, and work you had already asked us to begin is then settled separately.
